Muskingum knocks off Pitt-Greensburg 68-57

New Concord, OH- The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg men's basketball team fell at Muskingum University 67-58 Saturday afternoon in front of 127 fans at the Muskingum Recreation Center.  The loss drops Pitt-Greensburg to 2-2 on the season and they will open AMCC play Wednesday evening when the host Penn State Altoona.

David Palmer (Pittsburgh, PA/Westinghouse) paced the Bobcat offense with 13 points, the only UPG player to score in double figures.  He also added a team high seven rebounds.  Cameron Hubbard (Wellsboro, PA/Wellsboro) and Brock Witkowski (Marble, PA/Keystone) each added nine points.

Pitt-Greensburg shot 47.6% from the floor on the afternoon including 50% from behind the arc but the Bobcats committed 15 turnovers and shot just 12-20 from the free throw line.

Muskingum's Kyle Clinedinst lead all scorers with 23 points on 8-14 shooting.
