Staten Island senior guard Christina Pasaturo scored 19 points to raise her career total to 2,000 points even in the Dolphins' 84-57 win over CCNY on Monday night.

Pasaturo is the third player in CUNYAC women's basketball history to achieve the feat, joining Lauren Cargill of CCNY (2,285 points from 1999-03) and Sally Nnamani of Lehman (2,113 points from 2005-09).

Pasaturo has been racking up impressive offensive figures since she arrived at Staten Island three-plus seasons ago. She set the College's career scoring and three-point field goal records earlier this season. She was the CUNYAC Rookie of the Year in 2014-15, a first-team all-conference selection in 2015-16 and the Conference Player of the Year last season. Through Monday's games, she was ranked fourth in the country this season for scoring average with 23.7 points per game. Kelly Williams of Randolph-Macon leads the nation in scoring (24.6) and rebounding (18.4).

Through Monday's games Pasaturo is the active career leader for Division III women's basketball in points (2,000), three pointers made (305) and attempted (817) and field goals made (718) and attempted (1,649).

Staten Island is 15-3, 9-1 in the CUNYAC and tied for first with Brooklyn in the conference standings. Brooklyn beat Staten Island 73-68 in the teams' first meeting on Jan. 17 and the teams will meet again in Brooklyn on Feb. 8.
