PItt-Bradford named Sharay Hall as its next head women's basketball coach. Hall played and coached at Division II schools Lock Haven (Pa.), Clarion (Pa.) and West Virginia Wesleyan.

University Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Bret Butler announced the hiring on Thursday, July 27.
"Sharay is a young, up-and-coming coach in the profession, and we are very blessed to have her," Butler said in the University's release. "She was a very good college player at Lock Haven, and has excellent experience as an assistant coach. I am excited to watch her coach and lead our team, and ultimately lead them to an AMCC title. It is great to have her aboard."
Hall played four seasons at Lock Haven where she earned second-team all-conference honors as a senior and finished as in the school's career top 10 for steals, three-point field goals, rebounds and blocked shots. Hall earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology in 2012 and her Master's degree in sports and exercise psychology from Lock Haven in 2014.
Hall then spent a season as a graduate assistant at Clarion (Pa.) and last season as an assistant coach at West Virginia Wesleyan. In between she spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Frostburg, the same school that yielded the team's last women's head coach, Sean Brown. He moved into the men's head coaching vacancy in June.
The Panthers finished 16-11, 12-6 in the AMCC last season.
