Babson, Christopher Newport, Hanover and Neumann secured home court through their conferences' playoffs with victories on Wedneday night.

Babson has been sitting atop the Top 25 rankings and the NEWMAC standings for a while now, but the Beavers weren't able to clinch first place in the conference officially until tonight. Joey Flannery tallied 28 points, 16 rebounds and four assists and Babson cruised to victory past Coast Guard, 103-88. Babson also maintained its spot atop the Northeast Region rankings released by the NCAA on Wednesday afternoon.
No. 3 Christopher Newport took care of business against Southern Virginia as 10 Captains scored in their 69-45 win at Southern Virginia. Meanwhile Tre Mouton came off the bench for St. Mary's (Md.) to score 23 points on 11-for-11 shooting and the Seahawks knocked off No. 11 Salisbury, 85-73. The Sea Gulls' loss coupled with Christopher Newport's win gives the Captains the top seed in the CAC tournament.
No. 20 Neumann completed the regular season sweep of Cabrini with a 73-69 victory at home over the Cavaliers. DeShawn Lowman, Darian Barnes and Carl Wallace combined for 58 points and 41 points for the Knights who will be the top seed in the CSAC playoffs.
No. 21 Swarthmore led its arch rival Haverfod wire-to-wire on its way to an 86-63 victory. The Garnet will host the Centennial Conference semifinals next weekend while Johns Hopkins, Franklin and Marshall, Dickinson and Ursinus fight to stay out of the play-in game for the four-team tournament. No. 22 Hanover outrebounded Mount St. Joseph 34-22 and outscored the Lions 72-64 to secure first place in the HCAC tournament. Cam Fails scored 22 points in 38 minutes for the Panthers (20-3, 15-2 HCAC) who sit fourth in the most recent Great Lakes regional rankings.
For the second week in a row Guilford followed its selection as the top team in the South region rankings with a loss. Myles Turner scored 16 points to lead Emory and Henry past Guilford, 65-60.
No. 4 UW-River Falls, which was picked first in the Central rankings, also picked up a loss. The Falcons, who already clinched the WIAC title on Saturday, slipped 83-80 at UW-Eau Claire. No. 17 UW-Whitewater dropped its second straight game, this time falling at home to UW-Oshkosh 67-63. Eau Claire, Oshkosh and Whitewater enter the final game of the regular season tied for second with 8-5 records. The top two seeds receive first round byes in the WIAC tournament. WIAC standings
Scranton defeated No. 15 Susquehanna 75-66 to sweep the season series from the River Hawks and take the inside track on the race for first place in the Landmark Conference. John Vitus notched 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Royals who can wrap up the top seed with a win over Goucher on Saturday.
Nate Axelrod sank two free throws with less than a second left to lift Ohio Wesleyan over Wittenberg, 72-70. The Battling Bishops victory gives them at least a share of their third straight NCAC title. Ohio Wesleyan can win the title outright by beating Allegheny (7-17, 4-13 NCAC) on Saturday.
The CCIW standings remain messy though North Park and Carthage improved their chances to make the four-team playoff field with wins on Wednesday night. T.J. Cobbs scored 19 points for North Park and the Vikings ended a three-game slide with a 64-53 win at Carroll. Carthage edged North Central (Ill.) 78-74 in overtime and pushed the Cardinals a half-game out of the final playoff spot. Wheaton (Ill.) defeated Illinois Wesleyan 81-67 behind Aston Francis' 31-point outburst. Jay Spencer added a double-double off the bench for the Thunder.
