Dickinson women's coach steps down

Dina Henry, who has been women's basketball coach at Dickinson for the past 11 years, has taken a job as athletic director at Linden Hall School for Girls.

The Red Devils were just 5-19 this past season, 1-17 in the Centennial Conference. Henry is 215-224 in her career as a collegiate head coach, 155-127 at Dickinson.

Henry arrived at Dickinson for the 2003-04 season as the head women’s basketball coach. She came to Dickinson from the Fredonia State, where she was the head basketball coach for four seasons.

Dickinson made six consecutive conference tournament appearances from 2005 to 2010. Henry led the Red Devils to a 22-6 mark in 2006-07 and the program’s second appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Henry has the most wins of any coach in Dickinson women’s basketball history, and entered the season with the best winning percentage of any women's basketball coach at Dickinson as well.
