Jennifer Lodge Temple is suddenly out as head coach at Franklin,
after the Grizzlies compiled a 35-18 record in her two seasons.
Temple “is no longer the head women’s basketball coach,” athletic director Kerry Prather told the Franklin College campus newspaper. He would not elaborate.
According to the newspaper, Temple was an instructor
for the school's Coaching Basketball and Concepts of Wellness
classes this spring semester. David Brailow, dean of academics,
said Temple is on maternity leave. Her classes have been covered by
different professors, he said. Brailow declined further
comment.
