Ohio Wesleyan started a tough three game stretch with a win over No. 15 Marietta at the Defiance Purple and Gold Tournament.

Tyler Hammond hit a three pointer to briefly give Marietta the lead 70-67, but Nick Felhaber answered for the Battling Bishops with a three of his own. Seth Clark followed with a three pointer on Ohio Wesleyan's next possession and the Battling Bishops pulled away for the win, 79-74. Marietta's reserves outscored Ohio Wesleyan's 42-13.
