Fans have the opportunity to select one player for each of the two teams participating in the 2012 Reese’s® Division III College All-Star Game, conducted by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Voting takes place on the front page of D3hoops.com, starting at 12 p.m. ET on Monday, March 5, and running through 12 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7. Fans will be able to choose from a list provided by the National All-Star Committee.

Fans may cast a ballot to choose one player from among the choices and the two top vote-getters will be selected to play in the 2012 Reese’s Division III College All-Star Game held prior to the 2012 NCAA® Division III Men’s Basketball Championship game at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va., on March 17 at 4:30pm ET.  Reese’s is the official candy partner of the NCAA.

The two players will be given spots on the All-Star team roster, joining two seniors selected from each Division III region. In addition, two seniors from the teams eliminated in the national semifinals will be offered an opportunity to play, for a total of 10 players per side.

“The Reese’s College All-Star game is a terrific event for the coaches, players and fans,” said Reggie Minton, NABC Deputy Executive Director. “This online voting allows fans to be directly involved and adds to the excitement surrounding the event.”

“We’re excited to be able to offer this opportunity to Division III basketball fans again,” said Pat Coleman, Executive Editor of D3hoops.com. “Interest in Division III basketball is never higher than the last week of February and the beginning of March, so we expect another great turnout in the fan balloting.”
