WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Sophomore Molly Benetti notched a career-high 26 points as Nazareth went on the road to defeat Lycoming 67-52 on Saturday. It was the Golden Flyers seventh-straight win which began November 18 with a 74-67 victory over RIT.

Nazareth is now 8-1 overall, while Lycoming is 6-3.
 
The Golden Flyers overcame a slow start in which they fell behind 13-10 in the first quarter after shooting 4-for-19 (21 percent).
 
Nazareth rebounded in the second shooting 8-for-14 (57 percent) to seize control of the game. Olivia Dobrovosky gave Nazareth the lead for good with a layup with 4:30 left in the half, making it 17-15.
 
Sarina McDowell scored the final points of the half to push the visitors lead to 27-22. She tied a career high with 15 points on 6-for-9 from the floor. 
 
With the Golden Flyers lead at just four points past the midway point of the third, the Golden Flyers closed on a 13-4 run to open up the game at 48-35 heading into the final frame.
 
The Warriors came closest in the fourth at the 3:35 mark when it was 54-47. 
 
A Benetti layup with 2:44 to play made it a double-digit game which is stayed the rest of the way. She also had nine rebounds in the strong overall effort. 
 
Dobrovosky tallied 10 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
 
Nazareth returns to action on December 29, hosting Baruch at 4 p.m. for the Sandy DeWolf McCormack Memorial Holiday Tournament.
