Gwynedd Valley, Pa. (2/22/2023) - #2 Gwynedd Mercy University (15-11) played host to #3 Cabrini University (14-13). Eight lead changes occurred throughout the game, but in the end, the Cavaliers walked away with the 72-68 victory over the Griffins. Senior forward Haley Crossley (Philadelphia, Pa.) gave Cabrini University all they could handle in her final collegiate game. Crossley finished 7-16 from the field with 19 points, seven rebounds, six assists, two blocks, and three steals. 

Grifins Highlights:

• Junior forward Natalie O'Neill (Philadelphia, Pa.) earned her second double-double on the year with ten points and 12 rebounds. 
• Senior guard Elise Sylvester (Pottstown, Pa.) gave it her all playing all 40 minutes and finishing with 14 points, three rebounds, six assists, and two steals. 
• The Griffins bench was outscored 27-7.
• The Cavilers looked to earn their points in the paint all game allowing them to earn 34 points in the pain to Gwynedd Mercy's 22.

Gwynedd Mercy University finishes the 2022-23 season with a 15-11 overall mark and an 8-4 conference standing.
