Baruch Falls to Brooklyn in Friday Night CUNYAC Hoops

The Baruch College Bearcats lost 77-52 to the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Friday night.

The Bearcats' season-high four-game winning streak comes to an end as they are now 6-7 overall and 4-2 in the CUNYAC.  

The visiting Bearcats kept the action close and trailed 29-23 with a little over 5 minutes left in the second quarter, but the host Bulldogs scored the last 11 points to enter the half up 40-23.

The Bulldogs scored 10 of the first 15 points of the second half en route to the home win.  

Melinda Spahiu led the Bearcats with 22 points and narrowly missed a double-double with nine rebounds. Mia Castillo scored 16 points and Milly Ye finished with nine.

Gianna Gotta led four Bulldogs in double-figure scoring with 15 points.
