FARMINGTON, Maine -- Four Bobcats scored in double figures and the Bates women's basketball team rolled to an 85-49 win over the University of Maine-Farmington Beavers Tuesday night. 

Bates (9-5) never trailed in the victory. The Bobcats have won four straight games, their longest winning streak since the 2011-12 season. The 85 points is the most Bates has scored in one game this season and the 36-point win is the largest margin of victory for the Bobcats this season as well. 

Sophomore Meghan Graff (South Portland, Maine) scored a game-high 19 points on 8-16 shooting and grabbed a game-high nine rebounds. First-year Brianna Gadaleta (Chappaqua, N.Y.) added a season-high 12 points on 5-8 shooting and five rebounds off the bench. Sophomores Mia Roy (Bedford, N.H.) and Ariana Dalia (Brick, N.J.) chipped in 11 points each. Roy made 5-7 shots from the floor and Dalia tallied six rebounds and three assists.

McKenna Brodeur led the Beavers (7-7) with 12 points on 6-12 shooting to go along with five rebounds and two assists. Molly Folsom added 10 points off the bench.

The Bobcats jumped out to a 6-0 lead and never looked back. UMF hung around for awhile but Bates went up 24-14 on an old fashioned three-point play from Dalia with 8:37 left in the second quarter. The Bobcats led by double digits the rest of the night.

Bates shot 48.5% from the floor and 41.7% from three. UMF shot 34% overall and 25% from long range. The Bobcats dominated the glass with 45 rebounds to UMF's 28. Bates scored 21 second chance points while UMF was mostly one-and-done on the offensive end, finishing with six second chance points. The Beavers turned the ball over 22 times and the Bobcats only turned it over 12 times. Consequently, Bates tallied 28 points off turnovers to the Beavers' six.

The Bobcats return to action Friday when they visit No. 4 nationally ranked Amherst for a 7pm tip.
