MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University women's basketball team won at MSOE on Thursday to run their win streak to seven games.

Benedictine did not trail in the game
Allison Michalski opened the scoring with two free throws before MSOE tied the game for the only time
Michalski opened an 8-0 run that was finished by Alex Fanning with 5:54 left in the first to put Benedictine ahead by double figures at 16-5
A layup from Claire Gibler with under two minutes remaining enabled Benedictine to hold the largest lead of the quarter at 21-7
D'Asia Williams splashed home a three-pointer with 1:25 to go in the first half to give Benedictine a 45-20 lead and converted on a layup just before the half to put Benedictine in front 47-23 at the break
MSOE pulled no closer than the final margin in the second half as everyone on the roster saw time

Benedictine shot 50 percent in the first half to build the big lead and finished the game at 39.7 percent
Benedictine scored 40 points in the paint, notched 21 off turnovers, held a 44-41 edge on the glass, and received 23 points from the bench
Michalski led all scorers with 22 points, making nine field goals
Williams notched 15 points to go along with nine rebounds
