Win streaks extended for St. Thomas women

Senior All-America Hannah Spaulding had 14 points, 13 rebounds and four steals to lead No. 3-ranked St. Thomas to a 73-49 win at Concordia-Moorhead. The Purple (8-0 overall, 4-0 MIAC) used a 25-2 run and led 36-13 at halftime.

It was St. Thomas' 33rd road win in a row and 58th consecutive victory over an MIAC opponent. Coach Ruth Sinn's team closed with a 42-25 rebounding advantage and helped create 21 turnovers by the Cobbers (3-5, 1-3).

Kaylie Brazil scored 10 points and Lucia Renikoff and Madi Radtke each scored nine points.

St. Thomas is home Sunday afternoon to face Trinity (Texas).
