The Grizzlies did not back down in the second quarter and managed to slow down the RHIT offense.  Rose cooled down to 46% (6-13) shooting in the second quarter and were outscored by a point, 14-13. Turnovers were also a factor in the second quarter for Rose as the Fightin' Engineers entered halftime with 10 turnovers.  At the break RHIT led 39-24.

The RHIT offense came out hot again following halftime and put 24 points up on the scoreboard.  Rose shot 60% (9-15) in the third quarter and made all five three-point attempts.  Rose clamped down defensively and held the Grizzlies to just six points in the third quarter. FC was just 1-10 from the floor following the intermission.  Abby Bromenschenkel again beat the buzzer with another triple from the left wing to highlight the quarter.  Rose-Hulman outscored Franklin College 14-9 in the fourth quarter and the Fightin' Engineers made 7-16 field goal attempts to close the game.
