ROCKFORD, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team improved to 2-0 in conference play with a fourth straight victory, taking down Aurora at home.

• Benedictine scored the first five points of the game on a three-pointer from Venita Parsons and a layup from Alena Moro
• Rockford scored six straight to open a 10-7 lead with just over two minutes to play in the first quarter
• Casey Williams quickly tied the game with a triple, but Rockford led 15-12 after one
• A layup from Georgia Alexakos at the 7:16 mark of the second quarter put Benedictine ahead for good a 18-17
• The points were part of a 13-3 run capped by a three from Jenna Endres that made the score 29-20
• Holding a 33-25 halftime lead, Benedictine opened the second half with the first 12 points to move in front 45-25 on a three from D'Asia Williams
• The hosts pulled within 20 points on just two occasions in the third as Benedictine led by as many as 24 and outscored Rockford 26-13
• Madisyn Fischer gave Benedictine the biggest lead of the game at 31 points with a three-pointer with 4:42 remaining in the contest
• The win marked a fifth in a row for Benedictine
• Benedictine made 14 three-pointers in the contest and held a 49-41 lead on the glass
• For the game, Benedictine shot 40.6 percent
• Fischer notched 18 points in just 17 minutes of action to lead Benedictine, connecting on five three-pointers
• Endres added 12, all in the first half
• 13 different players scored
• Alexakos reeled in 11 rebounds, her third double-digit rebound game
