BSC Panthers Suffer First SAA Loss at Sewanee

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team had a nine-game win streak snapped on the road at Sewanee Sunday afternoon as the Panthers fell 62-45. It was the first Southern Athletic Association loss BSC has suffered this season.  They are now 13-7 overall, 8-1 in the league.

 

Camillia Carter (Hueytown, Ala./Hueytown HS) put up a team-high 22 points, just one off her season high.  She added a game-high four steals and five rebounds to her performance.

 

Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.

 

The Panthers return home for the next two conference matches. They face Rhodes College on Friday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. and Hendrix University on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m.  Both games are doubleheaders with the men's team.
