Three Tigers Come off Bench to Combine for 53 Points in 74-46 NCAC Win at Ohio Wesleyan

Delaware, Ohio - Three Tigers came off the bench and scored in double figures as 15th-ranked DePauw improved to 17-1 overall and 9-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference with a 74-46 win at Ohio Wesleyan. The win was DePauw's 14th straight, while the Battling Bishops dropped to 6-12 overall and 3-6 in conference play.

DePauw got out to an early 10-2 lead and finished the first quarter on a 10-0 run to take a 24-7 lead after the first quarter. The Tigers led 42-19 at halftime and outscored the Battling Bishops, 17-10, in the third for a 59-29 advantage headed to the fourth.

Blair Carlin led the way with career-highs of 25 points and five blocks in 26 minutes as she knocked in 7-of-11 from three-point range. Emily Budde added a season-high 15 and Kylie Morris chipped in a career-best 12 on 6-of-7 from the floor while hauling down a career-high nine boards.

Melinda Franke also grabbed nine rebounds and recorded three steals with Claire Ryan dishing out four assists.

Megan Kuether paced Ohio Wesleyan with 15 points, while Claire Sterling grabbed eight rebounds and recorded four steals.

DePauw shot a season-best 54.2 percent from the floor to the Battling Bishops' 35.3 percent. The Tigers hit eight three-pointers and outrebounded Ohio Wesleyan, 36-25.

The Tigers return to action on Wednesday, January 25, with a 7:30 p.m. game at Wittenberg.
