READING, Pa. - The Hood College women's basketball team suffered an ice-cold shooting night against an Albright team receiving votes in the national rankings and fell 74-33.

How it Happened
- Hood (6-7, 1-3) trailed just 12-10 with 4:48 left in the first quarter after a tough basket by Pitt. From there, however, the Lions went on a 27-4 run and led 39-14 with 1:31 to go in the half.
- The Blazers scored six straight points before an Albright (9-3, 4-0) basket made it 40-20 at halftime.
Notes
- Hood shot just 21 percent in the game, while the Lions finished at 48 percent.
- Nina Mazzarelli scored 15 points, including a 3 of 5 effort from 3-point range. Alysha Lofton had a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. She also finished with six assists, four steals and three blocked shots. MiKayla Lea added a dozen points and Devan Horka scored 10.
