BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Everyone contributed to the Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team's 70-38 rout of Agnes Scott College Tuesday night at home in Bill Battle Coliseum. This is the fewest points BSC has allowed an opponent this season. The Panthers are now 6-6 on the year. Agnes Scott moved to 1-5 overall.
Winter Taylor (Anniston, Ala./Oxford HS) came off the bench to lead the team with 12 points. She was a perfect 4-for-4 from behind the arc. Jameice Holmes (Nashville, Tenn./University School of Nashville) finished with 11 points to round out players in double-digits.
The Panthers bench put up 39 points to help lead the team to victory. Among them was Keneta Morris (Scottsboro, Ala./Northeast Alabama CC) who earned a game and career-high five steals in just 10 minutes of work on the court.
BSC hits the road next, returning to Southern Athletic Association play. They take on Rhodes College in a doubleheader with the men's team on Friday, Jan. 6. The women tipoff at 6 p.m.
