Kaitlin Langer had her ninth double double of the season with 13 points and 10 rebounds and freshman Lucia Renikoff added 14 points as No. 12-ranked St. Thomas scored a 79-62 home win over Macalester in Wednesday night's MIAC women's basketball play at Schoenecker Arena.

The Tommies (15-3 overall, 9-2 MIAC) won their fifth game in a row and moved into a share of the conference lead as first-place St. Mary's lost 82-70 at home to Augsburg.

Twelve different players scored for UST, which had 49-27 rebounding edge and were whistled for just 12 turnovers.

The Tommies closed the first half on a 16-3 run to build a 42-21 halftime lead, then started the third quarter on a 13-2 run.
