The Baruch College Bearcats lost to #18 nationally-ranked Jumbos of Tufts University on Tuesday evening in the ARC Arena.

Tufts (6-2) utilized an early 18-1 run to propel themselves to a large lead and ultimately put them in control for the remainder of the game. The Jumbos scored 42 of their 66 points in the paint and netted 34 off turnovers.


Veronica Ganziled the Bearcats (3-4) in scoring with 18 points.

Jacqueline Kennedynotched her seventh consecutive double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to go along with three blocks.

Michela North led the visitors with 18 points (8-13 fg) and six rebounds.

The Bearcats will be back on the hardwood on Sunday, January 3rd at 2 p.m. with a CUNYAC contest at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, New York.
