Millikin Women Lose at Greenville

         The Millikin women's basketball team lost to Greenville College 77-64 in the CCIW vs. SLAIC Challenge in Greenville, Illinois on November 21.

         Greenville shot 47 percent from the field in game and hit on 10-22 (45.5 percent) from three-point range.  Millikin struggled from the field shooting only 37 percent and went 3-20 (20 percent) from three-point range.  Greenville won the rebounding battle 32-31.

         Alex Capeles led Millikin with 20 points.  Alyssa Saklak had her third double double of the season scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.  Emily Schultz had nine points for Millikin.

         Taylor Paulin led Greenville with 27 points while Coley Baker added 21.

         Millikin is now 2-2 on the season while Greenville improves to 2-1.

         Millikin will play at Eureka College on November 24 at 6 p.m.
