PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Morgan Biddle's free-throws with one second remaining lifted Pitt-Greensburg to a 50-49 victory over Pitt-Bradford in the AMCC semifinals Friday at LaRoche

Pitt-Bradford came alive down the stretch as they capitalized on key offensive possessions late in the game to take a one-point lead with 16 seconds left in the contest.

With seconds to go, however, a costly turnover for the Panthers led to a late opportunity for the Bobcats to take the lead, as Biddle was fouled in the lane.

Pitt-Bradford (17-8, 14-4) was led offensively by freshman Brooke Osborne (Abbottstown/Spring Grove) who tallied 11 points in the loss for the Panthers

Pitt-Greensburg (18-9, 13-6) was led by Morgan Biddle who had a game-high 25 points for the Bobcats.

Both teams started off the Semifinal matchup struggling on offense with neither team able to put together a run.

Biddle took over the start of the game for the Bobcats as she scored the first 11 points of the game for Pitt-Greensburg.

Pitt-Bradford could not find a way to pull away from the Bobcats as it was a defensive battle in the first half. The Panthers shot 32 percent for the half and the Bobcats entered the locker room at 34 percent.

The Panthers finished the half out strong as they were able to end the half on an 8-2 run to lead the Bobcats 27-21 at halftime.

The Bobcats started the second half trying to get back to even against the Panthers. Pitt-Greensburg successfully battled back and took the lead from the Panthers with 10:47 left to go.

The Panthers could not find their rhythm in the second half until they reclaimed the lead after a freshman Ali Rinfrette (Bradford/Bradford) jump shot with 2:46 remaining.

Pitt-Bradford ends the season with a 17-8 overall record and going 14-4 in AMCC play.
