GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sophomore Anais Weatherly totaled 15 points, 11 rebounds and five steals, all game highs, in Guilford College's 74-28 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament victory over visiting Hollins University Tuesday night.

Weatherly sparked the fifth-seeded Quakers (17-9) to their ninth win in 11 games and a berth in the tournament quarterfinals against fourth-seeded Virginia Wesleyan College. Hollins ends its season with a 3-22 record.

The Quakers set the tone early with tight defense and a relentless rebounding effort, which yielded a 17-4 lead seven and a half minutes into the game. Guilford's reserves continued to stretch the lead throughout the half, which ended with a 35-14 Quakers' edge. Guilford dressed 10 of its 13 students for the game, all of whom scored by halftime. Hollins managed just four first-half field goals and was outrebounded, 27-7, in the opening frame.

Weatherly, the reigning ODAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, registered her team-leading 10th double-double of the season. Teammate Lauren Ramsey contributed 13 points and seven rebounds. Jordyn Brown came off the bench late in the first half and compiled 12 points, four boards and two blocks in 16 minutes. Jennette Taylor tallied four points, six rebounds, a game-high, six assists and three steals.

Jewellanna Parfitt's eight points led Hollins, which was outrebounded 50-26 and turned the ball over 24 times.

Coach Stephanie Flamini's club meets Virginia Wesleyan Friday (2/27) at 3:00 p.m. in the Salem (Va.) Civic Center. The Quakers have reached the ODAC Tournament final in each of the last three seasons with wins in 2012 and 2013.
