Sheridan Taylor Notches Her 1,000th Career Point & Rebound in Road Win at CCNY

Sheridan Taylorhad a record-breaking game by scoring her career 1,000th point and grabbing her 1,000th rebound in tonight's 81-57 win against CCNY in uptown New York City.

Sheridan becomes the fourth player in women's basketball team history to record 1,000 in the points and rebounding milestone, joining alums Kalea Davis '10, Sybil Smith '96 and Hilary Williams '91. George Kunkel '10 is the only basketball player on the men's team to record the double feat.

Taylor finished the win with a double-double of 19 points, 11 rebounds and three blocked shots.


Francess Henry, who reached 1,000 career points against CCNY back at home on January 16, scored 17 points and four steals. Alicea Ulmerhad a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

With the win, the Bearcats stay undefeated in CUNYAC at 14-0, while extending their win streak to 14 to improve to 18-4 overall.  

Liz Durchhalter and Shannell Bellamy led the Beavers each with 14 points.

The women's basketball team will return home to the ARC Arena for a 5:30pm CUNYAC home contest on Friday, February 13 against the College of Staten Island.
