GREENSBORO, N.C. – Eboni Ross delivered 12 points and seven rebounds in North Carolina A&T State University's 87-41 basketball victory over NCAA Division III Guilford College Monday night in the Corbett Center. The Division I Aggies (8-7) raced to a 45-16 halftime lead and never trailed in their first game with the neighboring Quakers (7-4) since 1982.

Ross paced a balanced effort that saw 11 different students score five or more points. North Carolina A&T shot better than 52 percent from the floor and made a season-high 11-of-23 three-point field goals, Christina Carter connected on two-of-three from long distance en route to 10 points. April McRae tallied 10 points and added four rebounds off the bench, which helped the Aggies' reserves outscore their counterparts, 41-15.

The taller and quicker Aggies hassled the Quakers into just under 31 percent field goal shooting and 23 turnovers, which led to 29 North Carolina A&T points. Jennette Taylor and Anais Weatherly shared team-high scoring honors with nine points apiece. Weatherly also collected five rebounds, which led the team.

Guilford returns to action Wednesday (1/7) against Old Dominion Athletic Conference-rival Eastern Mennonite University at 6:00 p.m. in the Quakers' Ragan-Brown Field House.
