Brooklyn, NY- The Women's Basketball team fell to the Emmanuel College Saints 79-31 earlier today. The Saints improve to 4-6 overall while the Cougars drop to 0-9 overall. 

The Cougars led the game 1-0 before the Saints went on a 13-0 run.

The Cougars were led by Freshman Forward Jade Venson with 14 points (2-9 FG-FGA, 0-1 3pt. FG-FGA, and 10-10 FT-FTA). Her perfect mark on the charity stripe was the 1st time in her collegiate career. Jade recorded two rebounds, dished out an assist, and added a block. Sophomore Guard Ashley Desir scored eight points, and Sophomore Forward Kimonia Mullings carouled a team high 10 rebounds. The Saints were led by Jennifer Bujnowski with 19pts. Alexis Ezell and Ryan Maynard each added 11pts.

The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday December. 9th, 2014, when they play conference rival the Brooklyn College Bulldogs. Tipoff will be 6:00 pm.
