DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Cabrini College had four players score in double figures, including a double-double from Amber Keys, in a 54-49, non-conference victory over host Delaware Valley College.

The Aggies dropped to 1-3 on the season while the Cavaliers picked up their first victory to improve to 1-2.

Prior to the game, Delaware Valley honored senior Brenna Coll for becoming just the 14th player in school history to reach the 1,000 point milestone in her career.  She scored her 1,000th point in last year's ECAC playoff game at McDaniel College.

In today's contest, the Aggies found themselves trailing 24-17 with 2:33 to play in the first stanza before scoring nine of the final 10 points to take a 25-24 lead into the locker room.  Coll had seven points and seven boards going into the break while Eireann Anastasi led all scorers with nine.

The two squads tied for the eighth time in the game at 31-31 less than five minutes into the second half.  The Cavaliers then pulled away with a 20-9 run that opened up their largest lead of the contest at 51-40 with 4:43 to play.  Erin Dodds and Megan Decker combined for 12 points for Cabrini during that stretch.

Delaware Valley took a shot at a comeback as a Brittany Wood layup, an Anastasi 3-pointer and an Agatha Drozd layup pulled the Aggies within four, 51-47, with 44 ticks on the clock. The Cavaliers went 2-for-4 from the foul line before Anastasi hit a layup to keep it a four-point game. Cabrini added one more free throw for the 54-49 final

Anastasi scored a game-high 19 points to go with four boards and two assists.  Coll finished with seven points and 10 rebounds while Wood came off the bench and contributed seven points and two boards.
