Radnor, PA - Cabrini College used a 23-2 run early in Wednesday night's Colonial States Athletic Conference women's basketball game and never looked back on their way to an 80-49 victory over Keystone College.  The Cavaliers, who will be the top seed in the upcoming CSAC playoffs, improve to 21-4 on the season and 15-1 in conference play after avenging their only loss in league this season.  The Giants, who defeated Cabrini 64-55 on January 18th in La Plume, end the season with a 14-11 overall record and an 8-8 mark in the CSAC.

Trailing 8-4 just over three and a half minutes into Wednesday night's game, Alyssa Cuomo (Odessa, DE/Hodgson Vo-tech) hit a three-pointer to bring Keystone to within a single point before Cabrini used a 23-2 run to open up a 31-9 advantage with 7:32 remaining in the first half.  The Cavaliers led by as many as 34 points before taking a 47-14 lead into the break at halftime.

Amber Keys scored 11 first half points to pace a balance offense for Cabrini, who got points from 10 different players in the period.  Colleen Stewart pulled down eight rebounds for the Cavaliers, who held a 32-15 advantage on the glass in opening frame.  The hosts connected on 47.4 percent of their attempts from the floor in the stanza while going 4-7 from beyond the arc and 7-8 from the free throw line.

Cuomo led Keystone with six points and four assists in the first half while Ashley Evans (Wooster, OH/Wooster) netted four points for the Giants, who made just five field goals in the opening 20 minutes of play a shot just 16.1 percent from the field while going 2-8 from three-point range and 2-4 from the charity stripe.

Cabrini continued to dictate play throughout the second half, keeping their lead at 30 point or more throughout the half while pulling away with the 31-point victory while holding the Giants to their lowest offensive output of the season.

Keys led four Cabrini players in double-figures with 15 points while Stewart and Megan Decker tallied 12 points apiece.  Annie Rivituso netted 11 points for the visitors while Stewart completed her double-double with a game-high 13 rebounds.  The Cavaliers shot 47 percent from the floor for the game while going 38.5 percent from three-point range and 72.2 percent from the stripe.  The hosts also held a 53-33 advantage on the glass in the win.

Cuomo led Keystone with 17 points on 6-10 shooting including a solid, 4-7 night from beyond the arc.  Samantha Donahue (Taylor, PA/Riverside) chipped in eight points in the loss while Cuomo and Chelsey Hropovich (Seward, PA/Ligonier Valley) tied for the team-lead with seven points apiece.  Jazmyn Robinson (Hyattsville, MD/Northwestern) contributed game-highs of seven assists and three assists for the Giants, who finished the contest hitting on 29.7 percent of their field goal attempts while going 40 percent from downtown and 50 percent from the line.

After narrowly missing out on a postseason berth this season, Keystone will look to return to the playoffs in the 2014-15 season as the Giants will lose no players to graduation this year.
