Baruch Finishes Regular Season on Winning Note, CUNYAC Tournament Starts Sunday

Veronica Ganzi scored a career-high 17 points and the visiting Bearcats overwhelmed Mount St. Mary with a 60-27 advantage on the boards to record a 96-58 road victory in Newburgh, New York on Monday night.

The Bearcats finish their regular season schedule with an 18-7 record.

They will next play on Sunday, February 23, at 3:00 pm with a CUNYAC Championship Tournament quarterfinal home game against CCNY in the ARC Arena.

The visiting Bearcats shot 44.2 percent and received 54 points in bench scoring as every player on the roster played at least 10 minutes.


Sheridan Taylor notched a quick double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Kristen Podlovits (11 points) and Francess Henry (10 points) rounded out the double-figure scorers in the convincing road win.

Rachael Perrone led the Blue Knights with 23 points.
