Thomas was able to battle back from a slow start, which saw the host Monks jump out to an early 12-2 lead. The Red and Black were able to keep the game in reach throughout the opening period, going into halftime down, 33-21. McAllister had eight of her nine points in the first stanza.

The hosts however erupted for 48 points in the closing half, while holding Thomas to just 15 points. The Terriers were unable to get anything going from the field, shooting a mere 17.6% from the floor in the second half.

Overall, Saint Joseph's held a 49-25 advantage in rebounds, while they scored 30 of their points off of Thomas' turnovers.

The Terriers will travel to Vermont over the weekend to return to conference action, taking on Green Mountain on Friday at 7:30pm and Castleton on Saturday at 3:00pm.
