The Baruch College Bearcats lost a 79-64 CUNYAC contest to the Dolphins from the College of Staten Island on Saturday afternoon.

The victory by the Dolphins (8-3, 4-0 CUNYAC) snaps a 15-game losing streak to the Bearcats that dates back to February 25, 2004 in the semifinal round (71-62) of the CUNYAC Tournament at York College.

The loss ends a 22-game regular season home winning streak for the Bearcats (7-3, 4-1 CUNYAC) in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats started slow trailing 8-0 and found themselves falling behind by double-digits the rest of the half. They did manage on several occasions to get as close as nine points during the second half, but could not get enough baskets going for a rally as the Dolphins connected on eight total 3-pointers for the victory.
