DOYLESTOWN (PA) – Brenna Coll scored 24 points while Kelsey Kilpatrick came off the bench to add 16 points as Delaware Valley College went over the .500 mark thanks to an 80-67, non-conference victory over visiting Rosemont College.

The win was the second straight for the Aggies as they improved to 4-3 on the season. They have another home tilt on Thursday against undefeated Marywood University (7-0) before the holiday. Rosemont slipped to 2-7 with the loss.

Delaware Valley, which trailed for just 33 seconds in the early stages of the game, came out running as it finished the first half with 19 fast-break points. The Aggies shot 18-for-32 (56.3%) from the field in those opening 20 minutes, including a 6-for-14 (42.9%) effort from beyond the arc.

Coll and Kilpatrick were two big reasons why as they combined for 26 of the team's 44 first-half points as Delaware Valley took a 13-point lead into the break. Kilpatrick had all 16 of her points in the opening 20 minutes as she hit all four of her 3-point attempts and added two baskets inside the arc. Coll was 5-for-6 from the field and had 10 points in the half. Eireann Anastasi was the main distributor on the break as she finished the half with nine assists, including seven in the first six-plus minutes.

Rosemont opened the second half with a 12-4 run to make it a 48-43 contest. Five different players scored in the spurt for the Ravens. Delaware Valley quickly got its advantage back up to double figures and went up by as many as 15, but Rosemont stayed within striking range as a pair of Liz Coyne free throws made it a 69-60 contest with 3:31 remaining. The Aggies finally put the game away with six straight points thanks to a pair of free throws by Shannon Barlow, a layup off a fast-break by Coll and a jumper by Anastasi.

Delaware Valley finished with a 25-2 advantage in fast-break points and shot 46 percent from the field, compared to 32.4 percent by Rosemont. Coll was 12-for-19 from the field for her 24-point performance and she also added eight rebounds. Brittany Wood nearly had a double-double with 10 points and eight boards while Agatha Drozd had 19 points and five assists. Anastasti dished out a career-high 12 assists and added eight points while Barlow finished with seven points and nine boards.

Coyne led the Ravens with 18 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Katharine Reppert drilled four treys and ended the night with 14 points while Curtrena Groff tallied 12 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
