Marymount Women’s Hoops Picks Up Another Road Victory

Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's women's basketball team earned a 68-58 victory on the road at Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon.   The Saints improve to 3-2 overall on the season heading into the start of Capital Athletic Conference play.

 

Katelyn Fischer led all scorers with 27 points while adding seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals.  She moved into 10th place in the Marymount all-time career scoring list with her offensive outburst.

 

Kievanna Lacey added 13 points for the Blue and White while Samantha Kane chipped in eight.

 

Miranda Krott pulled down 10 rebounds and collected three steals.

 

Cassie Conley led the Marlins with 12 points.
