Baruch Falls to Lebanon Valley (77-55)

The Baruch College Bearcats lost a disappointing 77-55 contest to Lebanon Valley College in the championship game of the Rinso Marquette Tournament played on Saturday afternoon in Annville, Pennsylvania.

The visiting Bearcats (1-1) struggled from the field shooting 36 percent (21-58) and committed 17 turnovers in the loss.

Lebanon Valley (2-0) shot 50 percent (27-54), and carried a 12-point (38-26) lead into the halftime break. They shot 5-of-7 from 3-point range during the second half to keep their lead at double-digits throughout the rest of the afternoon.

Sheridan Taylor had another double-double with 12 points and rebounds each. Iyana Abrams tallied 11 points, while Francess Henry contributed 10 points.

Taylor and Henry were both named to the All-Tournament Team.

The women's basketball team will return to action on Tuesday, November 26, with a 5:30 pm CUNYAC home contest against archrival Hunter College.
