Corrigan Finishes Year as New Single Season Record-Holder in Three Categories

ALTOONA, Pa. - Penn State Altoona women's basketball's sophomore forward Moira Corrigan (Havertown, PA/Haverford) finished the 2012-2013 season as the new school single season record-holder for blocks, blocks per game, and rebounds per game.

Corrigan blocked 33 shots this year, leading her team as well as the entire Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference. The previous single season blocks record was held by Kim Ebersole, who denied 31 shots in the 2002-2003 season.

Corrigan averaged 1.6 blocks per game this past year, passing Casey Drick's previous single season-high of 1.5 blocks per game in 2011-2012.

With 9.0 rebounds per game this year, Corrigan finished higher than Ebersole's mark of 8.7 boards per contest in the 2002-2003 campaign.
