JAMAICA, N.Y. – Bria Fisher posted another double-double and finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds, Joyce Li added 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting off of the bench and Giovanna Blanco pulled down 11 rebounds but York College (2-20, 2-11 CUNYAC) avenged its loss to the Beavers earlier in the season to down the City College of New York (4-18, 4-10 CUNYAC), 65-55, on Monday evening at the York College Gymnasium.

Fisher registered four offensive rebounds in the conference contest and added three steals while Li's 11 points were a season-high for the senior.

The Beavers, who trailed by as much as nine in the second half, cut the Cardinals' lead to just two with just over six minutes remaining in the contest as Fisher spearheaded the comeback charge with four consecutive points. City College stayed close throughout the contest but the Cardinals were clutch at the free throw line late in the game to run away with a 10-point victory.

Syreeta Williams led CCNY with nine first-half points and Latoya Lee added five as York College led 31-27 heading into the break. Fisher pulled down six rebounds in the opening period.

The Beavers return to Nat Holman Gymnasium for their final three games of the regular season as CCNY hosts Lehman College on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m.
