COUGARS FALL TO BULLDOGS 84-26 IN WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Brooklyn, NY- The Medgar Evers College Women's Basketball Cougars fell to the Brooklyn College Bulldogs 84-26. The Bulldogs improved to 15-5 Overall and 9-2 CUNYAC while the Cougars dropped to 0-21 Overall and 0-12 CUNYAC.

The Cougars had an athlete make her college debut. Freshman Guard Imani Mason hit some shots, peope weren't expected. Mason scored 13pts (3-6 3pt. FG-FGA). Fellow classmate Nia Tompkins scored 11pts (1-2 FT-FTA). Tompkins added 2 assits.

In the win, Brooklyn College was led by Vanessa D'Ambrosi with 11pts. Sarah Shanderson and Zoe Randolph each scored 10pts.

The Cougars will be back in action on Tuesday February 4, 2013, when the John Jay College Bloodhounds come to Medgar Evers College. Game time is 6pm and can be seen live on http://ustream.tv/channel/mecathletics
