Fisher Posts Seventh Double-Double of Season in 76-46 Loss to Bloodhounds

NEW YORK – Bria Fisher posted her seventh double-double of the season and finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds but the Bloodhounds of John Jay College (10-8, 7-2 CUNYAC) pulled down 50 rebounds in a 76-46 defeat over the City College of New York (3-14, 3-6 CUNYAC) on Wednesday afternoon at Nat Holman Gymnasium in front of 2,000 fans.

"Kid's Day" brought out hundreds of children cheering on the Beavers as Fisher added three assists and three steals in 35 minutes of action. Syreeta Williams and Kendra Rivers recorded eight points and five rebounds apiece.

For John Jay, four players reached double figures, led by Aneska Tejada's 17 points and 14 rebounds and Jamecia Forsythe finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

CCNY continues City University of New York Athletic Conference action and hits the road to face Medgar Evers College on Friday at 6 p.m. The Beavers defeated the Cougars, 59-18, earlier this season (Nov. 30).
