TIFFIN, Ohio—Sophomore guard Kathleen Phillips (Sandusky/St. Mary's) was selected All-Ohio Athletic Conference honorable mention, announced today by the league office. The honor is the first of her career.

Phillips led the OAC in scoring at 18.5 points per game, averaged 3.9 rebounds per game and led the team with 51 steals. She also shot 38.7 (153-of-395) percent from the field and ranked among the league's top-10 in free throw shooting at 85.2 (115-of-135) percent.

In 24 games, including 23 starts, Phillips led the team in scoring 20 times, recording 10 or more points in all but two games, 20 or more points 10 times, and 30 or more points three times. Her 36 points in a Jan. 7 game against Marietta College were just one shy of tying the school record.

Fourth-year head coach Marcie Alberts guided the team to a 4-21 overall and 1-17 OAC record, both improvements from last season, does not graduate a player for next season and is expected to return all five starters.
