POUGHKEEPSIE, NY (January 10, 2012) -- The Vassar College women's basketball team placed twelve of thirteen players in the scoring column in a 78-18 win over Bard College in Liberty League action on Tuesday night at the Athletics and Fitness Center.

Vassar raced out to a 40-7 lead at intermission, scoring 22 points on 20 Bard turnovers. The Brewers capitalized with 18 points in the paint and 23 points off the bench in the first half.

The Brewers (8-3, 2-1) host Hartwick College on Tuesday, January 17, at 6:00 p.m. The Raptors (1-9, 0-1) face Skidmore on the road on Friday, January 13, at 6:00 p.m.

Leading 24-7 with 6:43 left in the first half, Vassar ended the half on a 16-0 run. Freshman Allyson Pemberton scored eight points in the half on 3-of-6 shooting.

Five players reached double figures in scoring for Vassar. Freshman Nyah Berg scored a game-high 12 points. Sophomores Cydni Matsuoka and Hannah Senftleber and freshmen Michelle Foreman and Pemberton each had 10 points. Senior Brittany Parks posted a game-high seven assists and classmate Kristyn Tempora pulled down eight rebounds.

For Bard, Imani Jones had a team-high eight points and a game-high nine rebounds.
