The Chargers improve to 10-3 overall and 6-1 in the NAC. Green Mountain falls to 2-9 overall and 0-6 in conference play.

DeSanty led all scorers with 29 points on 13-22 shooting. Her 13 field goals are the second most all-time in Colby-Sawyer history and the most by a player since Terri Duffy '09 made 13 on December 2, 2008.

Colby-Sawyer junior Cailin Bullett (Millbury, Mass.) poured in 20 points on 9-14 shooting and collected a career-high 12 assists. The 12 assists marks the third time in her career she has reached that total and was one shy of tying the school record of 13 set by Amy Beaton '07 in 2007.

Freshman Kelsey Cahill (Cumberland, R.I.) recorded her first career double-double as a Charger with career-highs of 18 points (8-11 shooting) and 12 rebounds. She added four assists and four steals.

Senior Millicent Hopper (Gouverneur, N.Y.) led Green Mountain with a double-double of 23 points and a game best 16 rebounds. She was 10-15 from the floor. Junior Chelsea Paul (Northville, N.Y.) chipped in 18 points and six rebounds. Junior Jacque Caster (Seneca Falls, N.Y.) and sophomore Sierra Pease (West Rutland, Vt.) had 10 points apiece.

The first half went back and forth for the majority of the frame, which featured 12 lead changes. However, the Chargers took a 44-34 lead into the locker-room on the heels of a 14-5 run over the final three minutes of the half. Green Mountain shot 52% from the floor in the half and held a 21-14 edge on the boards. Colby-Sawyer was able to take the lead by turning 14 Green Mountain mistakes into 16 points. The Chargers committed just one turnover in the half and two for the game.

The second half saw the home team pull away with leads as big as 26. The Eagles cooled down a bit shooting the ball and Colby-Sawyer controlled the paint scoring 30 of its 45 second half points in the post.

Colby-Sawyer travels to Castleton on Saturday for a 3:00 pm tilt. Green Mountain hosts New England College on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
