#7 DePauw Makes it 10 Straight with Win at Hiram

Seventh-ranked DePauw shot 50 percent from the field and held host Hiram to just 26.7 percent and came away with a 71-32 North Coast Athletic Conference win over the Terriers.

The Tigers improved to 11-1 overall and 4-0 in the NCAC with their 10th straight victory, while Hiram dropped to 4-9 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

Hiram held a 7-5 lead in the opening three minutes of the game, but DePauw answered with the next 18 over a 6:23 stretch as seven different Tigers scored. DePauw scored the final seven points of the half and took a 34-14 advantage into the intermission.

Early in the second half, DePauw scored nine straight to expand the lead to 26 at 48-22. The Terriers got no closer than 24 the rest of the way.

Emma Ondik led DePauw with 10 points, while Ellie Pearson grabbed nine rebounds and Kathryn Denbow dished out three assists.

Chelsea Kovach and Samantha Morford each scored eight with Calysia Smyers grabbing four rebounds.

The Tigers held a 39-24 edge on the boards and committed just 10 turnovers.
