Herricks Lead Maroons Past Wheaton

WHEATON, Ill. -- Meghan and Morgan Herrick both finished in double figures as the second-ranked University of Chicago defeated host Wheaton (Ill.) College 71-60 in non-conference women's basketball action Wednesday night.

Game Summary

  • The Maroons (5-0) trailed 33-30 at halftime. Meghan Herrick then scored nine points as part of a 14-2 Chicago run to open the second period, putting the Maroons on top 44-35.
