PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Penn State Altoona senior guard Courtney Carroll was named to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's first team all-conference squad in women's basketball on Tuesday.

This marks the first time in Carroll's career that she earned first team all-conference honors, after being named to the third team after the 2009-2010 season.

Carroll finished the 2010-2011 campaign sixth in the AMCC in scoring, averaging 13.8 points per game. She was among the top 20 rebounders in the conference, grabbing 5.7 per game, and was third in steals with 2.7 per contest. Her average of 3.7 assists per game was tied for sixth in the conference.

Carroll became the third 1,000-point scorer in Penn State Altoona women's basketball history on January 5 before rising to the top of the school's all-time scoring list a week later. She finished her four year career with the Lady Lions with 1,191 points.
