Monster Game by Duncan Leads Greensboro to 21-0

Greensboro, N.C. -- Danielle Duncan scored 28 points and had 24 rebounds as Greensboro College improved to 21-0 with a 67-49 win over Piedmont.
Duncan was 7-16 from the field, made 14-16 from the free-throw line, had five blocked shots and three steals.
The Pride hosts NC Wesleyan at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday night. With a win against the Bishops, The Pride will tie the 2007 Lebanon Valley College team for the best turnaround (14 wins) in NCAA Division III history. The 2009-10 GC women's basketball team finished 8-16.

Bianca Richburg also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards. Andrienne Terrell contributed 13 points and dished seven assists for The Pride. Freshman Chevena Pickard added 10 for the home club.

GC led 39-22 at the break. Greensboro's largest lead was 23 points (48-25) after Terrell drained a three-pointer with 15:40 remaining. The Lions cut the margin to 14 points twice in the last 6:48, but could not get any closer.

The Pride dominated the glass 56-36. Both teams committed 18 turnovers in the contest.

Piedmont dropped to 15-6 for the season. Amber Satterfield led PC with 13 points.
