It was a close game the entire way but the Raiders fell to Edgewood 55-51 Saturday afternoon in Madison, Wis. Junior center Carol Cayo led MSOE with 15 points, nine rebounds, four steals and three blocks while junior guard Marguerite Wellstein scored 14 points.

The Raiders were within three with 1:30 left in the game when junior guard Kathleen Collingbourne hit a layup. However, MSOE did not score the rest of the way as the Eagles held on for the win. The Raiders led by as many as seven in the first half and did not trail by more than nine during the entire game.

Collingbourne and sophomore forward Heather Miller each put in eight points. They both recorded three steals while Miller pulled down six rebounds.
