Shreveport – The Centenary men's basketball team outlasted the Arlington Baptist University Patriots by a score of 90-86 in a non-conference contest on Monday evening at the Gold Dome.

The Gents improved to 3-1 while the Patriots fell to 2-4. Centenary has won 37 of its last 45 home games and the Maroon and White are 13-2 in their last 15 games at the Gold Dome. The Gents will have a quick tournaround as they will face the Texas College Steers on Tuesday in a game played at LSUS set for 4 p.m. The game will be considered a home game for Texas College. Centenary defeated Texas College 89-72 at home on Nov. 8.
