KEUKA PARK, N.Y. — The Keuka College Men's Basketball team won on Tuesday night 85-72 at home against Cazenovia College in a non-conference matchup.

Keuka College 85 vs. Cazenovia College 72

The Wildcats scored seven of the first nine points to take an early lead over the Wolves. Keuka College worked it back to a tie game, 15-15, on a fast break layup following a Kobe Schriver (Hooper, Utah / Roy) steal midway through the half. Cazenovia answered with four, but Mason VanDeMortel (Newark, N.Y. / Newark) hit a three to cut right back into the lead. The Wolves would take the lead for the first time 26-25 as Camden Banks (Titusville, Fla. / Space Coast) got a steal and found Devin Milton in transition for the layup. A jumper in the lane bounced the lead back to the Wildcats, but the Wolves would take it for good a minute later as Lorenzo Bicknese (Somers, N.Y. / Somers) knocked down a three to make it 29-27. That sparked a 7-0 run for the Green and Gold to create separation. Keuka College led 35-29 at the half.

Keuka College pushed their lead to nine in the early minutes of the second half, but Cazenovia College responded with their largest run of the game. The Wildcats scored nine straight to tie the game at 41-41. Once again, it was another Bicknese three that pushed the Wolves ahead 44-41. A put-back dunk by Devin Milton and strong attacks of the basket by Alijah Ellis highlighted the second half for the Wolves, but the Wildcats stayed within reach for the majority of the half. It would be in the final minutes when the Wolves pushed their lead to double-digits. The Green and Gold continued onto the 85-72 victory.
